The final Artwork originals were created on one layer using acrylic gouache, dry pastels, felt pens, Neocollor II and colour pencils over Canaletto Velino smooth paper.

Image making Process

Although I’ve created the image analogue and on the same layer, I’ve scanned often during the process for safe keeping. On the gif bellow you’d be able to see all the development stages for this spread. Once the image is digitalized and colour treated in RGB, I had to converted it to CMYK for print, This process has a considered lost on brightness and contrast if comparad with the original artwork. On the processe bellow is possible to see the colour treatment that I’ve used in order to bring back some of the contrats.
